Imagine that you work for a community counseling agency where you participate in weekly case staffing meetings. You have been asked to showcase one of the clients you have been counseling in the next staffing meeting. This is an opportunity to demonstrate your clinical skills and contribute to the team’s understanding of complex cases.
Create a brief scenario of a client with a sexual disorder currently listed in the DSM-5. Ensure the scenario reflects realistic symptoms and challenges that align with the diagnostic criteria.

Provide a diagnosis of the presenting problem. Ensure the diagnosis is supported by the DSM-5 criteria and the client’s symptoms.
Propose a treatment plan for this client and include specific interventions to be used. Outline short-term and long-term goals, as well as measurable outcomes.
