Support Centers
Many firms have formulated ways of passing the costs they incur to their clients. In many cases, this is aimed at minimizing costs of doing business and optimizing on profits. The costs of doing business for companies can at times be so high that they threaten to blow the profit margin of even the most productive projects (Lawrence & Klimberg, 2017). Support centers have developed this approach of passing on the costs of managing end-user services to clients also in an attempt to minimize costs and maximize the profits of the business. Whereas most support centers have adopted similar charges for different types of services offered, there are others that have different support charges. Research Paper Writing Service: Professional Help in Research Projects for Students – One such support center is Microsoft. The firm mainly deals with developing and manufacturing computers and licenses as well as selling computer software (Harris, 2012).
Back to passing on costs to end users, Microsoft allows users to open an account with them so as to access the services it offers. It is also in this account that customers are billed various charges based on the services sought. For instance, Microsoft has charges/fee structure for support services. This is where it has provided various payment packages depending on the support services sought (Harris, 2012). As such, unlike other firms where the customer is unaware of the amount of support services charged, Microsoft informs the users of the costs they will incur in using these services. It has gone to great lengths to provide a Service Agreement where customers willing to incur these costs have the option of accepting it. Based on this company’s service, I would definitely choose the support services. A clear search of the services offered revealed that these services are pocket friendly unlike the others which are quite expensive.
