On the other hand, instruction refers to the actual implementation of the curriculum in the classroom. It is the way the teacher delivers the content and helps students learn. Instructional strategies include lectures, discussions, hands-on activities, and assessments. Instruction is the means by which the curriculum is delivered, and it is designed to help students achieve the learning objectives that have been set out in the curriculum.
Therefore, the key difference between curriculum and instruction is that curriculum is the overall plan for what is to be taught and instruction is the actual implementation of that plan in the classroom. Curriculum sets out the goals, objectives, content, and methods for teaching and learning, while instruction involves the use of specific strategies and techniques to deliver that content and help students learn.
