ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

Each group will conduct a reconnaissance of an area (indoors and/or outdoors)- university, work, etc.

1. Acting as Joint Health and Safety Committee conduct a reconnaissance assessment. This is a group assignment
2. Create a hazard checklist AND Using TABLE 2 (RISK CRITERIA) Complete TABLE 1 (HAZARD INVENTORY & RISK EVALUATION) for each potential hazard identified.
3. Feel free to interview people working during your reconnaissance area to ask them about potential hazards that may occur in that area, may also take photos (examples: Facility Maintenance, Cafeteria, Laboratory Technicians, Professors etc….).
