The community group that will be studied is a local LGBTQ+ support group that meets regularly to provide a safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community to come together, share their experiences, and provide mutual support. The group is made up of individuals who identify as LGBTQ+ and those who support them, with membership defined as anyone who wishes to participate. The group engages in a variety of activities, including social events, educational discussions, and community outreach projects. This group is relevant for my research proposal as it provides a unique opportunity to explore how diversity and collaboration can be fostered within a community of individuals with diverse identities and experiences.
